Oaxaca
Oaxaca is a city in southern Mexico that has become a very popular tourist destination. The history of the area dates back to the Aztecs and many cultures have called the area home. These can range from an afternoon hike to a weeklong trip depending on how much you want to see. There is a great deal of wildlife in the area since it is in a mountain valley surrounded by forest.

There are hundreds of trails that cater to all skill levels. There is also a zip line that gives you a spectacular view if you are brave enough to ride. The hiking in the mountains can range from a gentle walk to hard core climbing depending on your skill level. There a great many other outdoor activities that you can try as well if you are interested. The area has established itself as the outdoor adventure capital of Mexico and there is plenty to do.
